Architectural League of New York features MCHAP

The Mies Crown Hall Americas Prize is excited to announce that the Architectural League of New York has invited the Mies Crown Hall Americas Prize to be part of its summer programming. “Behind the Prize” will take place on Wednesday, June 12, at the Rose Auditorium at The Cooper Union.

The discussion invites the audience to go behind-the-scenes of the MCHAP jury process with members of the jury. The jurors will describe their selection criteria, the importance of architectural vision and client collaboration, and the value of visiting the projects in person with architects and clients.

Moderated by Dirk Denison, panelists Ricky Burdett CBE, Jose Castillo, and Claire Weisz will come together to reflect on the process, deliberations, and decisions made during the prize as members of the most recent MCHAP 2018 cycle.
